A lot of expertise had to display the acro pilots to take off from the top of the Castle tower this year, because of the gusting wind blowing from the East (opposite direction of the prevailing winds there) that forced them to inflate the gliders in “cobra” style. Once the test was passed though, the historic building offered a unique scenario for showing the most radical aerobatic maneuvers by world class pilots, with the Spaniards taking the top positions of the comp: Javi ‘Malaguita’ Tejeiro (AirG Emilie) 1st, Felix Rodriguez (Ozone Twister) 2nd, and Raul Rodriguez (AirG Emilie Peace) 3rd.
